What is Make My Itinerary?

Make My Itinerary is a consulting service which we offer apart from our guided tours.

If you want to MAKE AN OUTDOOR TOUR IN ROMANIA OR THE BALKANS with your friends or your fellow club members and you want to do it on your own then WE CAN HELP YOU PLANNING IT.

We’re locals and here is where we hike, climb, bike and ski. We can put our knowledge and experience gathered in so many years of outdoors tours at your disposal for planning your tour.

More specifically, we can HELP YOU WITH THESE:

1. Deciding over the outdoor objectives based on your preferences – THIS IS A FREE SERVICE.

2. Creating your own itinerary – after we set the objectives and the available period, we write for you the full itinerary on a daily basis.

3. Plan and prepare for your tour – we fill in the itinerary for you with all the information needed for making it safely and successfully:

options and recommendations for transport and access to the start of the route and from the finish point of the route as well the times needed for transport
duration and elevation of the hikes
evaluation of the difficulty of the routes
risks along the routes
Hiking Maps
GPS Tracks where available
photos of the routes where available
options and reccommendations for accommodation, with links and phone numbers
suggestions for camping
water sources
reccomendations for individual and team equipment
weather patterns
general tips such us: what can you buy from where, what to avoid, what is the local mountain culture, what special places you should visit etc.
prices for transport, accommodation, food, etc.

Prices

Make My Itinerary Service

We charge our services for day planned. Thus a DAY planned BY US for YOU costs 20 Euros.

The full amount need to be paid before delivering our services. If you are not happy with the resulted material, you give us your feedback and we modify the itinerary, but no more than 30% and only once.

It is important to understand that we do not charge this service per person. You can come as many as you may seem fit, the price paid is the same and can be shared between the participants.

Extra service for reservations

We charge our services for reservation made. Thus an extra 10 Euro for each reservation need to be paid, no matter the number of the persons.

In case payments need to be made in advance, it will be necessary to transfer the money in the accounts we indicate to you.

How does it work?

For benefiting of these services, you need to go through this simple process:

STEP 1

Fill in a general GET TO KNOW MY NEED questionnaire on our website.

This serves as a starting point for us understanding your basic tour data: objectives (if any set already), duration, number of persons in the group, where you start the tour.

STEP 2

We come back to you for a CONVERSATION FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING your intentions.

If you are uncertain about the objectives of your tour, this is the moment when we help you, freely, to decide upon them. We can discuss over the phone, email or skype, depending which communication channel works best for you.

STEP 3

WE PREPARE A BASIC GENERAL ITINERARY and send it to you for approval. This could be sent over the email or in pdf format.

STEP 4

YOU PAY in advance for our services.

Payments for our services will be made according to our terms and conditions you can read here (link).

If you require the extra reservation services, this is the time to announce us and agree upon them.

STEP 5

WE PREPARE THE FULL MATERIAL which wil include in a structurate way and easy to follow all the information specified above. The material will be written in English and delivered to you electronically in PDF format.

STEP 6

You send us your feedback and your request for change (if the case is). WE COMPLETELY FINISH YOUR ITINERARY based on your feedback.
